Logos are easy until they are white-on-white

A mark on a solid field usually isolates cleanly. A white wordmark on a white canvas is the failure case - the model may treat the letters as background. Use restore on the glyph, or start from a version with contrast. nobg will not redraw a low-res JPEG into a vector SVG.

Raster in, raster out

You get a PNG, not an SVG. For a true vector, use the original Illustrator or Figma file. This page is for the JPEG someone emailed.

Signatures and stamps

Scan on a contrasting paper. Restore thin strokes the model dropped. Do not upload wet-ink signatures to a cloud cutter if you can avoid it.

Keep resolution

A 200 px favicon cannot become a sharp 4K overlay. Open the largest file you have.

Frequently asked questions

Can it trace a logo to SVG?

No. Output is PNG. Vectorize in a dedicated tool if you need paths.

Watermarked screenshots?

The cutter removes backdrop, not a superimposed stock watermark across the mark. Get a clean asset.

Brand guidelines say a clear space?

Keep that in your layout. nobg only drops the pixels behind the mark.

Is the logo uploaded?

No. Unreleased brands stay in the tab.

Knock the box out

Then place the PNG wherever the mark needs to sit.
