nobg is a background remover that runs in your browser. A photo you drop on the lightbox is read by this page, cut on this device, and saved as a PNG from this device.
What leaves the browser
Image pixels do not. There is no upload, no account, and no remote background-removal API. The cut runs entirely in client browser memory.
What we do not collect
- Photos, masks, or downloads
- Names, emails, or payment details (there is nothing to sign in to)
- Tracking cookies for ads or analytics
What stays in the tab
Files live in memory for this tab. Close the tab and they are gone. Sample photos are bundled with the site so you can try the studio without using your own file.
